HOUSTON - A Texas state court judge has granted a motion for summary judgment filed by a former manufacturer of an air compressor that argued it had no duty to warn sandblasters of silicosis hazards associated with using the product. Reed, et al. v. Aearo Company, et al., No. 2003-18385 (Texas Dist. Ct., Harris Cty., 55th Dist.).
