Proposed Order Dismisses J.W. Harris from Louisiana, Texas Welding Rod Lawsuits

CLEVELAND -- A proposed order filed by both plaintiffs and welding rod defendant J.W. Harris would dismiss the defendant from six Louisiana and three Texas lawsuits recently transferred into the Welding Rod Products Liability Litigation MDL. In re: Welding Rod Products Liability Litigation, MDL 1535 (N.D. Ohio.).

The proposed order was filed Oct. 18 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio and would dismiss the welding rod defendant from claims recently transferred from the U.S. District Courts from the Eastern and Middle Districts of Louisiana, as well as the Southern and Western Districts of Texas.
