CLEVELAND -- Louisiana plaintiffs in the welding rod products liability litigation MDL have filed an opposition to Dow Chemical's motion to dismiss, arguing that their complaint sufficiently identifies Dow to satisfy pleading requirements. In re: Welding Products Liability Litigation, MDL 1535 (N.D. Ohio).
Plaintiffs filed their opposition on Oct. 20 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. They contend that they have asserted causes of action against Met Life and three classes of defendants, specifically welding defendants, supplier defendants and trade association defendants.
