First Conditional Transfer Order Entered in Silica MDL

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation, which in September created the Silica MDL docket in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas, has entered the MDL's first CTO, conditionally transferring some 20 cases to the district. In Re Silica Products Liability Litigation, MDL Docket No. 1553 (S.D. Texas).

The conditional transfer order was entered Nov. 4 in the Southern District of Texas after being issued by the JPML on Oct. 15.
