Texas Asbestos-Silica Bill Reintroduced in Legislature's Third Special Session

AUSTIN, Texas - A bill calling on the Texas Supreme Court to establish criteria for a statewide inactive docket for claims alleging exposure to asbestos and silica has again been introduced in the Texas Legislature.
After failing to get the bill passed in three previous sessions, Sen. Kyle Janek, (R-Houston), reintroduced the measure Sept. 29 in the Legislature's Third Special Session, which was called earlier this year to resolve the state's proposed Congressional redistricting plan.
