Defendants Remove 20 Additional Silica Cases to Federal Court

JACKSON, Miss. - Defendants in the Mississippi silica litigation have added to the tally of claims removed to federal court by recently filing notices in 20 cases that allege injury as a result of silica exposure.

Nineteen notices of removal were filed Sept. 19 in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi. One additional case was removed to the Northern District of Mississipppi on Oct. 1, sources told HarrisMartin Publishing.
