Special Master Recommends Summary Judgment for Several Defendants in Silica Case

HAZLEHURST, Miss. - Summary judgment was advised for all but one defendant in a Mississippi silica case that had been scheduled for trial earlier this month, according a series of recommendations issued recently by the special master overseeing the case. Johnson, et al. v. American Optical Corp., et al., No. 2002-0030 (Miss. Cir. Ct., Copiah Cty.).
