BOSTON - Plaintiffs in a silica case have subpoenaed the deposition of employees of the Liberty Mutual Insurance Company in an effort to determine what it knew about the silica products manufactured or distributed by its insureds. Craft, et al. v. American Optical Corp., No. 03-3257 (Mass. Super. Ct., Suffolk Cty.).
In a 30(b)(6) Deposition Subpoena Duces Tecum filed recently in the Suffolk County Superior Court in Massachusetts, the plaintiffs seek designation of a Liberty Mutual employee to appear July 15 at the insurer's Boston offices and give testimony that may be relevant to the underlying Mississippi silica case.
