Judicial Panel Creates MDL Docket for Welding Rod Litigation

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation has ordered the creation an MDL for the centralization of all federal cases alleging injury as a result of exposure to welding rods. In Re Welding Rod Products Liability Litigation, Docket No. 1535 (JPML).

In an order entered June 23, the panel determined that the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio would be the best location for the coordinated or consolidated pretrial proceedings.
