SUMMARY: A study aimed at measuring the extent of radiographic abnormalities among 1,339 construction workers exposed to quartz-containing respirable dust for an average of 19 years. The observed radiological abnormalities were determined by median results of the International Labour Organisation system using three certified b-readers.
