NEW ORLEANS - The family of a sandblaster who died from silicosis after years of battling the disease has filed a wrongful death complaint against two companies who were found liable more than two decades earlier for causing his disease. And the family is now requesting that the judgment entered by the court in 1981 be applied to the present wrongful death claim. Scarborough v. Clemco Industries, et al., No. 03-0087 (E.D. La.).
