Silica Defendant Appeals Community Service Sanctions Following Verdict

TYLER, Texas - A defendant that successfully took a silica personal injury claim to verdict late last year has filed an appeal in the case, claiming that the trial court was wrong to assess pre-trial sanctions against the defendant and one of its attorneys for initially failing to produce product ID documents during discovery. The Hill & Griffith Company v. Bryant, et al., No. 12-03-00091-CV (Texas Ct. App., Twelfth Dist.).
