Plaintiffs Designate Experts for Upcoming Mississippi Silica Trials

PORT GIBSON, Miss. - Plaintiffs in the next silica cases set for trial in Mississippi have filed their designation of experts in Claiborne County Circuit Court.
The expert designation was made recently in Green v. Clark Sand Co., et al., No. 2002-131, which is set for trial May 6 and is the first in a series of silicosis trials scheduled in Mississippi. Another case, Green v. Clark Sand Co., No. 2002-093, is set for trial on June 24. Both are filed by former sandblasters who claim they were injured as a result of their exposure to silica dust.
