Defendants in Mississippi Silica Case Designate Experts; 3M Settles

HAZLEHURST, Miss. - Several defendants in a Mississippi silica case that was set to go before a jury this month have filed their lists of expert witnesses they intend to call during trial. Underwood, et al. v. American Optical Corp., et al., No. 2002-0027 (Miss. Cir. Ct., Copiah Cty.).

The designations were entered throughout the month of January, just before the trial was continued indefinitely by order issued in the Copiah County Circuit Court.
