HOUSTON - The judge overseeing the Texas Silica MDL has signed a case management order that will govern procedure for how claims will be litigated prior to being remanded for trial to the courts where they were originally filed. In Re: Silica Litigation, No. 2004-70000 (Texas Dist. Ct., Harris Cty.).

Harris County District Court Judge Tracy Christopher signed the order June 29, more than eight months after a Texas Supreme Court panel granted a highly contested motion to transfer and consolidate numerous state court silica claims to a single judge for pre-trial discovery.
