MDL Judge Set to Resume Daubert Hearings

CLEVELAND -- Judge Kathleen M. O'Malley will resume admissibility hearings on July 25 in the Welding Rod Products Liability Litigation MDL, sources told HarrisMartin Publishing. In re: Welding Rod Products Liability Litigation, MDL Docket No. 1535 (N.D. Ohio).

Judge O'Malley of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio has allotted two weeks for the parties to complete arguments on motions to exclude Parkinson's disease testimony, sources said.

Sources also indicated that Judge O'Malley has set final pre-trial conferences in Ruth v. Lincoln Electric, et al., for Aug. 8-9. The Ruth trial is set to begin Aug. …
