CLEVELAND -- Defendants in the welding rod products liability litigation MDL have reasserted their efforts to preclude certain causation testimony proffered by the plaintiffs, contending that the plaintiffs' experts testifying on causation rely on inadmissible epidemiological studies. In re: Welding Rod Products Liability Litigation, MDL Docket No. 1535 (N.D. Ohio).
In a reply brief filed June 20 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, the defendants argue that the plaintiffs are 'constantly shifting' their definition of neurological injury.
