photo-16ATLANTA - Researchers from Emory University have found little evidence that the incidence of end-stage renal disease (ESRD) is higher among patients with silicosis than those who are not suffering from the silica-related condition.
In a study published recently in the Scandinavian Journal of Work Environment and Health, the researchers found fewer cases of end stage renal disease among confirmed silicosis than expected.
