Bar Date Reset, Extended in Clemtex Bankruptcy

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas - A new bar date has again been set for filing silica-related personal injury claims in the Clemtex bankruptcy. In re: Clemtex, Inc., No. 01-21794 (S.D. Texas, Bankr.).

Just one month after issuing an order establishing an absolute bar date of March 1 for silicosis tort claimants, Judge Richard S. Schmidt of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas signed yet another order extending by one month the time to file claims for injuries caused by exposure to Clemtex products.
