CLEVELAND –– Plaintiffs with claims pending in the national C-8 personal injury litigation coordinated docket have opposed a number of motions filed recently by defendant E.I. du Pont de Nemours and Co., arguing in part that the defendant has a “long history of false and misleading claims about C-8 exposure….”

In their May 6 opposition brief filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, the plaintiffs urged the federal court not to dismiss their fraud and emotional distress claims, saying the defendant was aware that the environment and community surrounding its West Virginia plant was contaminated.
