LITTLE ROCK, Ark. –– An Arkansas federal court has granted two motions to dismiss made by defendants in a pending silica action on product identification grounds.
In text entries filed May 1 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas’ online docket, the court said the order was granting the motions for summary judgment filed by BASF and Whittaker Clark & Daniels Inc. “for the reasons argued in the motion.”
According to an April 27 final scheduling order, trial has been set in the matter for the week of Sept. 28.
