Talc Plaintiff Files Motion to Remand, Says Claims Against In-State Defendant Walgreens are Valid

EAST ST. LOUIS, Ill. –– A plaintiff who contends that use of talc-based products caused her to develop ovarian cancer has moved to remand her claims, maintaining that her inclusion of Walgreens as a defendant in the action was not fraudulent.
In the May 4 motion to remand filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Illinois, the plaintiff said that Walgreens knew, or should have known, that the products contained no warnings regarding the risk of ovarian cancer.
