BEAUMONT, Texas - A trial date has been set for a case involving nearly 200 workers who claimed they were injured as a result of their exposure to silica at a Tyler Pipe facility in Texas. Aparicio, et al. v. U.S. Silica Co., et al., No. A-165548 (Texas Dist. Ct., Jefferson Cty.).
According to sources, the case is set for trial before Judge James Mehaffy of the 58th District Jefferson County District Court on Feb. 3. It had initially been called for trial in November, but was continued to the February date, sources said. It has not yet been determined …
