HAZLEHURST, Miss. - Plaintiffs in a Mississippi silica case have filed a list of experts they intend to call during trial, which is scheduled to get underway on March 13. Johnson, et al. v. American Optical Corp., et al., No. 2002-0030 (Miss. Cir. Ct., Copiah Cty.).
The Plaintiffs' Designation of Experts, which identifies nearly two dozen medical doctors, epidemiologists, economists and industrial hygienists expected to testify regarding everything from lost wages to the link between silica dust exposure and cancer, was filed Nov. 15 in Copiah County Circuit Court.
