CINCINNATI — A federal appeals court has upheld a multi-million dollar verdict issued in a gadolinium toxicity case, finding the trial court did not err in its evidentiary rulings and did not abuse its discretion in denying GE Healthcare’s motion for a new trial.
On Oct. 20, the 6th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals affirmed the jury’s $4.5 million verdict issued in favor of Paul Decker and the $500,000 award to his wife for loss of consortium.
