CLEVELAND –– The court overseeing the national coordinated C-8 personal injury multidistrict litigation docket has outlined the procedures for selection of the initial trial cases, scheduling trials for Sept. 2015 and Nov. 2015.
According to the Aug. 6 order issued by the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, both the plaintiffs and defendants were to simultaneously exchange lists of four discovery plaintiffs that each side chooses as their initial trial case selections.
The underlying plaintiffs contended that they have been injured by a C-8 chemical release from a nearby E.I. du Pont de Nemours and Company facility. …
