SAN FRANCISCO — A federal judge has granted a refrigeration company’s request to transfer a workplace injury suit to Alabama, where the alleged injuries occurred, agreeing that the Alabama venue would be more convenient for witnesses. Cambridge v. Millard Refrigerated Services Inc., No. 4:12-cv-01460 (N.D. Calif.).
Judge Claudia Wilken of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California said May 16 in granting the move that neither party has any significant contacts to the Northern District and the material factors weigh in favor of transfer.
