Ohio Court Issues 2 Discovery Orders in C-8 Exposure MDL Proceedings

COLUMBUS, Ohio –– An Ohio federal court has issued two discovery orders in the federal C-8 exposure multidistrict litigation docket, ruling in part that the plaintiffs can disregard written discovery requests submitted by DuPont until after the selection of bellwether trial plaintiffs are chosen.
In a separate order, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio also permitted DuPont to communicate with the plaintiffs’ treating physicians for the purpose of scheduling and coordinating depositions.
