MONROE, La. — A Louisiana federal judge has dismissed the claims of four test plaintiffs in an exposure case against International Paper Co., finding those plaintiffs failed to present evidence of their level of exposure to hazardous substances allegedly released by the company’s former mill in Bastrop, La.

On March 24, Judge Robert G. James of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Louisiana also granted IP summary judgment on all 15 test plaintiffs’ claims for future medical expenses, lost wages and general damages, ruling that the plaintiffs failed to present evidence supporting these claims.
