CLEVELAND - Judges overseeing the consolidated silica proceedings in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, have issued a case management order outlining the manner in which the nearly 300 silica lawsuits pending in that venue will proceed over the next few years. In Re: Special Docket Cuyahoga County Silica Cases, No. 73958 (Ohio Comm. Pls., Cuyahoga Cty.).
The General Personal Injury Silica Case Management Order No. 1 covers everything from cross-claims to sanctions in the pending cases and also applies to future silica claims filed in the county's Court of Common Pleas.
