JACKSON, Miss. –– A Mississippi federal court has dismissed a chemical exposure case as time-barred, opining that the claims and others like it asserted by the plaintiffs have been dismissed several times before and, at this point, are “hopeless.”
In the Feb. 25 order, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi not only found that the statute of limitations precluded the suit, but also that that the plaintiff appeared to lack standing to bring the case on behalf of his deceased brother.
