GREENVILLE, S.C. – A federal court has awarded summary judgment to Day & Zimmerman International after concluding that negligence by a client's maintenance worker, rather than the contractor's error, led to injuries from an accidental chemical exposure.
Judge Timothy M. Cain of the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina issued his findings Jan. 31, ruling for Day & Zimmerman on both negligence and comparative negligence causes of action.
