HATTIESBURG, Miss. – Wal-Mart Stores Inc. is resisting a non-party subpoena by an industrial chemical company seeking a forensic inspection of a store's surveillance system or computers pursuant to a personal injury lawsuit by a Wal-Mart employee.
Wal-Mart says in a Jan. 13 motion to quash that it has complied in good faith with prior discovery requests but that the latest request was unnecessary and could lead to the disclosure of proprietary information.
