WILMINGTON, Del. – A Delaware Superior Court judge has granted a motion to amend claims against Optek Technology Inc. on behalf of Texas plaintiffs who allege that the mother's exposure to chemicals at a semiconductor facility led to her son's serious birth defects.
Judge Vivian L. Rapposelli ruled Dec. 30 that the amendments sought by Tammy Wallace and her son, Roger Daniels, are permitted under the court's civil procedural rules and are not subject to judicial estoppel.
