ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – A Missouri woman who says she was injured by toxic fumes from welding products as early as 1977 has filed a lawsuit against The James F. Lincoln Arc Welding Foundation, which allegedly supplied educational materials to the institution where plaintiff trained.
Janice F. Emerson filed her pro se complaint Jan. 3 in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri, asserting claims against the Lincoln Foundation as well as Lincoln Electric Co. and other unnamed parties.
