OSHA Proposes $44,000 Fine for Firm Hired to Remove Lead Hazards at Georgia Gun Range

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Occupational Safety and Health Administration has cited FCC Environmental LLC for failing to protect workers at a Glock Inc. gun range from exposure to lead hazards.
The violations found during a July inspection of the facility in Smyrna, Ga., merit $44,000 in penalties, according to a Dec. 30 notice from OSHA.
Glock retained FCC to remove lead from its firing ranges, according to OSHA.
