HARRISBURG, Pa. -- A federal judge has dismissed a pipe company’s request for a temporary restraining order to prevent federal regulators from inspecting its chemical storage facilities, saying the court has no jurisdiction.
U.S. District Judge Malachy E. Mannion ruled Dec. 2 that the Occupational Safety and Health Act (29 U.S.C. § 1651 et seq.), under which the search warrant was sought, prevents the federal district courts from ruling on the request by Insituform Technologies LLC.
