Delaware High Court Affirms Exclusion of Expert Testimony in AMD Semiconductor Case

WILMINGTON, Del. — The Delaware Supreme Court has affirmed the exclusion of the plaintiff’s expert in a chemical exposure case against Advanced Micro Devices Inc., saying the trial court did not abuse its discretion in finding the proffered opinions unreliable.
The court’s Nov. 21 ruling left in place a final judgment in favor of AMD, which the parties had stipulated to in order to facilitate the plaintiffs’ appeal on the admissibility of evidence by epidemiologist Linda Frazier, M.D., M.P.H.
