HATTIESBURG, Miss. — Defendants preparing for a March trial date in a Mississippi silica case have filed more than a dozen motions by the court’s Nov. 14 deadline, including requests to exclude testimony by three of plaintiff’s medical experts.
The motions by defendants Mine Safety Appliances and American Optical Corp. to exclude were directed at plaintiff’s experts Darrell Bevis, Dr. Steven Haber and Vernon Rose, DrPH, as well as testimony by a co-worker.
