HARTFORD, Conn. — Burris Logistics Inc. has moved for partial summary judgment on one count in a lawsuit by former employees at a refrigeration facility who maintain that they were wrongfully terminated for refusing to assist in the cleanup of a spill they thought hazardous.
Senior District Judge Charles S. Haight Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut has yet to rule on Burris’ motion with respect to a wage claim, but did rule Nov. 6 that he will consider plaintiffs’ opposition, despite a late filing.
