BOSTON —Raytheon (NYSE:RTN) workers and family members who allege that exposure to beryllium dust has left them at risk of chronic illness have appealed a federal district court’s decision to award summary judgment to defendants.
Plaintiffs submitted their Joint Notice of Appeal to the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts July 18, saying they were appealing the court’s June 23 judgment as well as three non-final orders denying requests for additional briefing or discovery on the issue of subcellular change and their claim for medical monitoring.
