COLUMBIA, S.C. - A doctor who for some time treated the respiratory symptoms of a former Kohler Co. employee and later diagnosed him with silicosis was in the best position to determine that his illness was occupationally related, a state Supreme Court has held in affirming an award of compensation to the worker. Corbin v. Kohler Co., No. 3554 (S.C. Sup. Ct.).
