RIVERHEAD, N.Y. — A New York trial court has denied a motion by World Technical Services Inc. to dismiss a former employee’s wrongful termination suit, saying that allegations linking the discharge to safety violations are sufficient to pursue a claim under New York’s Whistleblowers’ Statute.
Acting Suffolk County Supreme Court Justice Joseph Farneti denied WTS’ moiton July 10, saying the court must consider allegations by Richard Siebor as true at this stage of the litigation.
Siebor, a master electrician, contends that he was fired by WTS after complaining of safety violations at the Plum Island Animal Disease Center. Those alleged …
