PINE BLUFF, Ark. — Clark Sand Co. has moved for summary judgment in an Arkansas silica case brought by a former painter and sandblaster, arguing that any liability ended four years after its 2008 corporate dissolution in Florida.

Clark submitted the motion to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas May 6, citing a Florida statute and dissolution papers filed on June 9, 2008, with the Florida Secretary of State.
