CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — A federal court jury in West Virginia has rejected claims by a worker at a Schlumberger Technology Corp. (NBYSE: SLB) gas well, who sought tort damages for alleged injuries caused by accidental exposure to hydraulic “fracking” chemicals.
Jurors delivered their verdict March 7 on the third day of trial in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia.
District Judge John Bailey presided at the trial of claims by Salvatore M. Bombardiere Sr. He has given the parties until April 4 to file post-trial motions.
