MACON, Ga. — A federal judge denied Norfolk Southern Railway Co.’s (NYSE: NSC) post-trial bid for judgment as a matter of law, saying the plaintiff’s claim of accidental injury did not require supporting testimony from a medical causation expert.
Senior Judge Hugh Lawson denied the motion March 7 and ordered the clerk of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Georgia to enter final judgment on the jury verdict in favor of plaintiff Millon R. Clements.
