LOS ANGELES — A California plaintiff whose occupational injury claims against food products supplier Centrome Inc. were rejected at a 2012 trial has appealed the trial court judgment and order denying retrial.
Wilfredo Velasquez’s Notice of Appeal was filed in California’s Second Appellate District Feb. 19.
Velasquez is also appealing the Los Angeles Superior Court’s Dec. 20 order granting Centrome’s motion for nonsuit on a negligence cause of action.
A Los Angeles County jury reached a verdict for supplier Centrome Dec. 13, after a lengthy trial before Superior Court Judge Anthony Mohr.
