CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — A federal judge has barred a toxicology expert’s report and testimony from an upcoming trial on alleged injuries suffered by a worker exposed to fracking chemicals at a Schlumberger Technology Corp. (NYSE: SLB) drilling site.
Judge John P. Bailey of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia also granted motions Feb. 13 by defendants Schlumberger and SOS Staffing Services to plaintiff’s claim for lifetime medical monitoring after precluding causation testimony by Richard Lipsey, Ph.D.
