Sensient Flavors Dismisses Claims Against NIOSH Over Health Inspection Reports

INDIANAPOLIS — Sensient Flavors LLC (NYSE: SXT) has voluntarily dismissed claims against the National Institute of Health and three NIOSH employees arising from an inspection and unfavorable report of workplace hazards.
U.S. Attorney Joseph H. Hogsett of the Southern District of Indiana said Jan. 14 in announcing the dismissal that it was not the result of any settlement between NIOSH and the Indiana-based maker of popcorn-flavorings and other food products.
Sensient has entered into an agreement with the Indiana Occupational Safety and Health Administration, however, related to state inspections and fines arising from the same issues, Hogsett noted. That agreement …
