NEW YORK –– A New York federal court has allowed Travelers to file an amended third-party complaint in a silica and asbestos coverage action, concluding that doing so would not prejudice the defendants.
The U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York said Jan. 11 that although the insurance company took longer than necessary to file the motion to amend, the delay was not made in bad faith.
